Ladies that like and enjoy wearing nice clothes look forward from year to year to a really good sale. It gives an opportunity to fill in gaps in ones wardrobe at a comparatively small cost. The modern salon does not hold on for long garments which are in fashion. Rather, they prefer to keep always a little ahead. Thorpe’s (New Plymouth) prefer to sell the stock at a much reduced rate to make room for the early spring goods.*
