William Augustine Lagan, who last weeK pleaded guilty to forging and uttering a cheque in the name of a Rotorua boardinghouse-keeper, to-day pleaded guilty in the Hamilton Court to issuing valueless cheques at Greymouth, Nelson, Ashburton and Napier to a total amount of £49 17s.
