Closer co-operation embodying reciprocal relations between Great Britain and Canada will be discussed during the week at the Co-operative Union of Canada congress. Mr. J. A. Wilkins, president of the Co-operative Wholesale Society of England, who, is here to attend the congress, to-day stressed the advisability of Canada’s adopting the co-operative system as practised in England and Scotland. Closer reciprocal trade between the Mother Country and Canada, he believed, would prove to the advantage of both.
