LEVEL CROSSING ACCIDENT

DEAF CYCLIST INJURED. By Telegraph.—Press Association, Feilding, July 8. Frederick Geagne, a married man with three children, while riding a motorcycle over the South Street crossing at 8.13 this morning, was struck by a south-bound goods train and suffered a broken leg and head injuries., He was removed to hospital in a serious condition. Geange is deaf, and it is presumed he did not hear the engine’s warning.
