BIRD ROAD EUCHRE PARTY.

The most successful euchre tournament held this year in the Bird Road school took place on Friday night. There were tables in use. The ladies’ and men’s first prizes were carried off by Airs. T. Waite, senior, and Air. H. Rowe respectively. The ladies’ second was secured by Airs. W. Parish. Messrs. J. Parish and Al. Howard tied for the men’s second and after the “cut” Al. Howard was the winner. Air. H. Waite supplied the music for the dance. Extras were given by Mr. T. Waite. Air. R. Goodwin carried out the duties of AI.C. very capably. Air. E.
