A body of cavalry that was scouring the Kritschm district' for the band of assassins who tried to kill M. Andrea Liaptcheff, Prime Minister of Yugoslavia, when he was returning from opening a new road, shot at the wrong car and killed a constable who was escorting the Minister of .Works, M. S. Vassilieff. The constable flung himself in front of the Minister when the shooting rang out and was mortally wounded.
