Rear-Admiral Edward Eberle, retired chief of naval operations, died to-day at the age of 64. Admiral Eberle’s death, resulted from infection which developed from an injury he received over thirty years ago when he was struck by the tiller of a small boat and his eye-glassea were driven into his right ear.
