SYNOD AND A SMOKE.CONCERT.

PROTEST REJECTED BY MAJORITY# (By Wire. —Special Reporter.) Hamilton, Last Niglit. . Objection to the proposal to transact only two nours’ business at the Waikato diocesan synod to-day .. was taken by Mr. G. W. Seton .(Putaruru). Mr. Seton on being informed; th.it synod would sit neither this morning nor this evening, said about 70 synodsmen would have to “cool their heels’’ practically /all day.
