ANGAS AND BODDY WIN DOUBLES
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The Canterbury tennis championships were' continued to-day in fine weather. The following results show the state, of the various series:— Men’s Singles.—Semi-finals A Angas. beat Sheppard, G—3, 6—2; Patterson beat Glanville, 6—2, C—3. Ladies’ Singles.—Semi-finals: Miss Speirs beat Mrs. Miles, o—2,0 —2, 0— 0; Miss Wake beat Mrs. Beale, 6—o, 6—3. Men’s Doubles.—Final: C. Angas and E. G. Buddy beat B. B. and A. B. Loughnan, B—6, 6—l. In the ladies’ doubles Miss Speirs and Mi's. Y. Pritchett are in the final. Other semi-finalists are Mrs. Miles and Miss Sowden and Misses Wake and Andrew. Boys’ Singles.—Final: H. A. Barnett beat A. A. Mac Gibbon, 6 —2, 6—-1. Girls’ Singles. —Final: Miss M. Sherris beat Miss I. Poole, G—2, G—s.
