MELHORN WINS OPEN GOLF
KIRKWOOD TIES FOR SIXTH PLACE
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Jan. 28, 8.30 p.m. San Antonio, Jan. 28. Melhorn won the open golf tournament here with 277, which was a record for the course. This was also his second consecutive win in the tournament. The former record was Kirkwood’s 279. Norton Smith was second with 281. Kirkwood tied for sixth place with 287.
