CLAY BIRD SHOOTING
C.A.C. CUP COMPETITION. STRATFORD DEFEATS HAWERA. Under showery and unfavourable conditions yesterday a team from the Stratford Gun Club successfully withstood a challenge from a Hawera team for the C.A.C. Challenge Cup. Besides the challenge shoot, there was a 12 bird and a double-rise competition. Details are:— C.A.C. CUP, off 16yds. Stratford. —A. Nelson 19, F. Casey 20, J. Lombard 15, J. Petrie 17, A.
