CRICKET CLUB MEETS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Wednesday, Oct. 10. The annual meeting of the Inglewood Cricket Club was held on Tuesday evening, when there was a fair attendance. Mr. A. O. Powell presided. Last season, it was stated, was most successful, it being the first season for a number of years that a regular Thursday competition had been held, and congratulations were due to the B team, who had proved the winners of the competition. The season was started with a credit balance of £7 12s 4d, and during the year a ball was held, showing a profit of £6 15s Id, but owing to the purchase of gear and a number of old accounts the balance at present was only £1 3s. It was decided to raise the members’ subscription to 12s Cd seniors and 7s Gd junior members. It was stated that this year there was every prospect of Stratford putting a team in the field. It ■was decided to try and arrange a friendly match for Thursday, October 18. The election of officers for the coming season resulted as follows: President, Mr. A. Marshall; vice-presidents, Messrs, fl. O’Carroll, C. Hamerton, H. Thompson, R. Darlow and F. Brown; club captain, Mr. J. Parfitt; vice-cap-tain, Mr. A. O. Powell; committee, Messrs. J. Parfitt, L. Sutherland, P. Speedily, R. Brown and V. Devereux; •eeretary and treasurer, Mr. D. Coles.
