SHOOTING IN SYDNEY STREET
ARRESTED MAN REMANDED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 8. 5.5 p.m. Sydney, Oct. 8. Arrested on a charge of shooting William Gillan at a street corner in Surry Hills on Saturday night, John Hearn, aged 34, was to-day remanded to appear on October 16. The victim, whose condition is improving, is not named Dillon as previously cabled.
