DAIRY PRODUCE MARKET. Messrs Collett and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable advice from their British principals:—Creamery butter, 178 s to 180 s per cwt; cheese, 110 s. Newton King, Ltd., have received the following cable from their principals (Messrs R. and W. Davidson, Ltd., Glasgow and London): —Butter market quiet at 178 s to 182 s per cwt; exceptionally, 184 s; unsalted, 186 s up to 196 s per cwt. Cheese is quiet. Coloured, 110 s to Ills and up to 112 s per cwt; white, 112 s to 113 s, up to 114 s. SHAREMARKET SALES. A return to more or less normal prices was made at to-day’s sale at Feiiding. a drop of about 4s per head being shown in the case of fat sheep, of which there was a heavy penning. Black-face shorn hoggets sold at from 27s 7d to 30s, whilo woollies were up to 35s and 395. Heavy ewes in wool were priced from 33s Id to 375, while shorn lots sold at from 33s 3d to 375. Wethers were in short supply, and prime e'orts made up to 435, with others at from 29s 6d to 36s 6d. Store sheep met with a slow sale, and the bulk of the yarding was passed m. Good wether hoggets commanded favourable attention, selling at from 30s 5d to 365, while ewe hoggets ranged in value from 35s 6d to 39s 7d. Several pens of ewes and lambs failed to reach the reserve, but sales were made at 455. Dairy cattle were on sale in usual large numbers, but the demand was erratic. Best springing heifers realised from £lO to £l6 10s; with poorer sort 1 from £7 to £9 10». Springing cows close to profit made up to £l5 10s, with the average price from '£9 to £IO. A heavy yarding of fat stock came forward, but bidding was slow at declining prices. Best cows sold from £9 17s 6d to £ll, and others ranged from £7 15s to £9. Heifers W’ere in short I supply, and of only medium quality, and £l3 12s 6d was the highest figure paid for these lines, with others at from £8 10s to £ll.
