MOST. SANGUINE HOPES PROVED. By Telegraph—Presa Assn.—Copyright. Tokio, Oct. 5. The pan-Paeifie Rotary conference has closed. It was successful beyond the most sanguine hopes, producing remarkable results and causing the Japanese to realise for the first time the true significance of the principles of Rotary in bringing about intimate personal contacts unknown hitherto. The fact that the conference was addressed by an Imperial Prince and Cabinet Ministers is regarded as significant evidence of offical attention and approval.
