NEW PLYMOUTH HARRIERS

TRIAL IN GRAHAM CUP COURSE. Eleven harriers of the New Plymouth Club ran over the Graham Cup course on Saturday afternoon, the distance being approximately six miles. The winner was C. Robertson, off the 3min. 15 sec. mark, Hartnell (3min. 15sec.), and Hunter (2min. 45sec.) being next. Coming on to the course at the end of the first lap, Thompson and Greenlees were together well clear of Robertson, Hartnell, Lander, Head and Hunter. Robertson was first to come into view, coming on to the course with Hartnell. The former was going best at the finish to win by 20 yards from Hartnell, with Hunter 100 yards further back. Lander was fourth. The fastest times were recorded by Robertson (39min. 40see.), Hartnell (39 min. 43sec.), Hunter (39min. 51sec.), and Brown (39min. 55sec). Hartnell, who has had only a few runs this season, showed promising form.
