CLAIMS OF PLIMMERTON
PETITION FOR TOWN BOARD FAILS. Uy Wesre^i. —Press Association. Wellington, Sept. 20. Residents of Plimmerton, the small township near the entrance to Porirua Harbour, petitioned to be constituted a Town Board. The Hutt County Council opposed ths suggestion and a commission was appointed, which has now reported that the time is not opportune for the change and that the petition should not be granted.
