BRITISH PARTY BEGIN JANUARY. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, June 10. Captain Bernard, accompanied by Mr. Alliott and tho Duchess of Bedford, left the Lympe aerodrome at half-past four this morning on a flight to India and back. Captain Bernard hopes to accomplish tho journey to Karachi and back in eight days. Th© outward flight is being made in four stages, with halts at Sofia, Aleppo and Bushire. Received June 11, 9.45 p.m. United Service. London, Juno 11. Captain Barnard, accompanied by the Duchess of Bedford and Elliott, who left Lympne aerodrome at 4.30 on Sunday morning in th© “Princess Xenia” in an attempt to make an eight days’ flight to India and back, arrived at Sofia at 7 o’clock on Sunday evening, covering 1140 miles in 14 hours.
