AH were sustained by the hope of being helped, by Our Lady of the Grotto. “Some are dying and this is their last hope,” remarked th.; sister of the youngest, a nine-year girl cripple who had had eight operations. The helpless pilgrims sang “Look down, Mother Mary” and there were hundreds of healthy pilgrims kneeling on the platform iii prayer.
