WORKERS’ REPRESENTATIVE
COUNCIL AND LABOUR COMMITTEE ELECTIONS HELD YESTERDAY. At a meeting of Labour representatives at Moturoa yesterday, Messrs. S. Flood, R. Fulton, W. Falconer, A. Lineham and A. E. Wood were elected to the workers’ council for the ensuing year. The voting was as follows:—Flood, 95 votes; Fulton, 89; Falconer, 86; Lineham, 70; Wood, 59; E. O'Dea, 42; W. Hunter, 39. Messrs. Falconer, Wood and O’Dea were appointed’ to the Labour Representation Committee. The voting was: Falconer, 70; Wood, 68; O‘Dea, 51; W. Hunter, 41; F. Hill, 35; P. J. Clancy, 31.
