Before Mr. Kehrick, S.M., the hearing of charges, against Hbri Mau that as the tenant of a billiard room he used it as a common gaming house, and against Geoffrey Rogers that he'had assisted, in the management, was concluded this morning, Defective Sweeney prosecuted and Mau pleaded guilty. Lengthy evidence was given showing that Betting was carried oh by telephone from other towns. The Bench dismissed the charge againstRegers and fined Mau £*SO and rests.
