THE LATE MB. NEWTON KING
MEMORIAL TROPHY PROPOSED. After conferring with representatives of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce, Farmers’ Union, Taranaki Jockey Club and various other institutions, the Taranaki Agricultural Society has decided to invite subscriptions with which to provide a handsome trophy to be known as the Newton King Memorial Trophy, to bo competed for annually at either the winter show or the stock show. Subscription lists are now being circulated, and the. Taranaki Daily News will be pleased to receive any subscriptions on behalf of the society.
