LONDON-KARACHI FLIGHT
DAMAGED ’PLANE RECOVERED. By Telegraph—Presa Assn.—Copyright. Received May 31, 7.15 p.m. Bagdad, May 30. Carr and Gillman’s ’plane, minus the port wing and pro- eller, has been picked up thirty miles from the scene of their descent. Messrs. Carr and Gillman attempted a non-stop flight from London to Karachi, but were forced down in the Persian Gulf owing to engine trouble.
