FURTHER GALES IN AMERICA
LOSS OF LIVES AND PROPERTY. By Telegraph—Prejs Assn.—Copyright. Received May 31, 9.50 p.m. New York, May 31. News from Bristol, Virginia, states that twelve people are known to be killed, over a score are missing, and many injured, with property damaged to an extent of approximately a million dollars by a series of storms which swept sections of Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia early on Monday. Communication with many of the affected areas has been severed.
