MORALISING WOMEN’S DRESS
ITALIAN COMMISSION SET UP. PRIZES OFFERED FOR MODESTY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received May 31, 7.45 p.m. Rome, May 31. The Commission for Moralising Women’s Dress is inviting three young unmarried Italians to pledge themselves to dress in Italian fashion, and ban all immodest attire. If they do so, the commission will allow them to partake in public lotteries and also have two free tickets. The winner of a. certain number will receive a bride’s trousseau and a railway ticket to any European resort chosen for a honeymoon.
