SCENE IN THE COMMONS
WRIT AGAINST LABOUR MEMBER. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, May 30. Lieut.-Colonel W. Grant Morden, M.P., is issuing a writ against Mr. W. Mackinder (Labour) as a sequel to a scene at the end of the debate on the Russian rupture when Lieut.-Colonel Grant Morden and Mr Mackinder nearly came to blows. An interjection by Lieut.-Colonel Grant Morden, not heard by the Speaker, alleged that the Labourites were in the pay of Moscow. Lieut.Colonel Grant Morden at the next sitting explained that the remark was not intended to apply to the Labourites as a whole.
