ODDFELLOWS’ LODGE
HALF-YEARLY INSTALLATION. The half-yearly and quarterly meeting of the Loyal Egmont Lodge was held on Monday evening in the Foresters’ Hall, and presided over by the N.G., Bro. E. Walsh. There was a very small attendance of members; one candidate was initiated and routine business carried out. The following officers were elected and installed by P.G. T. R. Crow, assisted by P.G. L. D. Callaghan: 1.P.G., Bro. E. Walsh; N.G., Bro. 8 Bollam; V.G., P.G. Bro. H. Y. McGahey; permanent secretary, Bro. S. Bollon; elective secretary, P.G. Bro. W. Hooker (re-elected for the 59th term); warden, Bro. Evans. The N.G. appointed P.G.’s L. D. Callaghan and T. R. Clow as his R. and L. Supporters, and the V.G. appointed P.G. Jos. Hooker and Sister C. Callaghan as his R. and L. Supporters. Sister Mrs. Thompson was appointed Guardian- P.G.’s L. D. Callaghan and T. R. Clow were appointed the two Past Officers to assist the N.G. during his term of office. It was resolved that Sister Clara Callaghan’s name be placed, on the Merit Board, and that she be presented with a jewel or certificate.
