ATTEMPT TO STEAL CHEQUE
MUSIC TEACHER FOR SENTENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, April 7. Herbert Cecil Loveday, aged 32, a music teacher and winner of tho recent North Island shooting championship, was remanded until to-morrow for sentence in the Magistrate’s Court for attempting to steal a cheque valued at £45 5s 2d, which he picked up in a letter dropped by a messenger.
