MAORIS IN ENGLAND
PRINCE PRESENTS MEDALS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Jan. 6. The mystery of the Prince of Wales’ recent request for the Maoris’ names and initials has been revealed. He had a set of medals struck, whieh he presented to Mr. J. G. Coates for individual presentation. He has also given Mr. Coates a shield for annual competition by Maori teams in New Zealand. The Maoris laid a. wreath of irisos and orchids on the cenotaph, with a Maori inscription. PLANS FOR RETURN JOURNEY. London, Jan. 6. The majority of the Maoris will sail by the Marloeli from Liverpool on- Januarly 7, play Vancouver on January 29 and February 5. En route they will .visit Niagara and the Canadian Rockies. They will leave for Australia by the Tahiti on February 9.
