QUESTION OF SUSPENSIONS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Jan. fl, 5.5 p.m. London, Jan. 5. The Rugby Clubs and affiliated leagues rejected by 14 votes to 13 Wigan’e proposal to remove the ban on all colonial players on August 1. A further motion supported the action of tho Rugby League Council in releasing the restriction on Australian and New Zealand Rugby Union players from March 3. The council decided to reduce the price of admission to the Leeds test on January 15 to is fld. It was considered that L. Brown had been sufficiently punished by being sent off the field. F. Henry having been registered as a York player, his suspension by the New Zealand managers must terminate on January 16. Henry played for York prior to playing for New Zealand.
