—. — > LIVE and DIE IN TURKEY. “I am a Turkish citizen,” and I wish to live and die n Turkey, ’ Prince Seiffeddin, who escaped from a mental home at Ticehurst, near Hastings, told the Central news correspondent in Constantinople. The Prince, who arrived on a steamer, said he hardly knew how to express his emotion at being free once again. . Among those accompanying him was liis step-father, Feridoun Bey, who is said to be the real author of. the plan of escape. Feridoun Bey stated that the Prince’s journey from Boulogne to Paris was made by a special aeroplane, and that after constantly changing hotels at Paris in order to dedge their pursuers the party left for Marseilles by motor-car. Twenty minutes after they left Paris the. police arrived to search their hotel. Feridoun added that the. expenses of U>c escape amounted to £50,000.
