POSTCRIPT TO LUCASTA. The following preciously preserved extract from a love letter written home to his wife by a soldier on active service will evoke tender memories in thousands of our ex-service men: “Darling Lettie, a merry Christmas and a happy New Year, but don’t send me no more nagging letters. They don’t do no good. I’m 3000 miles away from home, and 1 want to enjoy this war in peace.”
