NEW ANIMALS ON THEIR WAY. By Telegraph.—Pre,, Aasoclatioi. Wellington, Dec. 15. The Wellington zoo population is to be considerably increased during the next few weeks. Several new animals are now on their way to Wellington. Three spider monkeys were listed as passengers by the Ulimaroa from Sydney, and two pairs of lemurs are expected via Auckland in a day or two. Two American bison, presented by the Canadian Government, are also expected fairly soon. A few months ago the Madras Government offered to present a young elephant female to Wellington.
