CRUISE OF SEAPLANES
ENGLAND TO AUSTRALIA. STARTS MIDDLE OF NEXT YEAR. By Telegraph—Brew Assn.—Copyright. London. Dee. 14. It is understood that the Air Ministry has arranged a cruise for the. middle of the year of a fleet of flying boats to Australia via Singapore commanded by an officer of high rank. The machines will be of the supermarine Southampton type, carrying a crew of four and equipped with a Na-picr-Lion twin engine and 900 h.p. The Air Alinistry recently 'equipped the eoastal reconnaissance squadrons with this type. If one engine fails th-' second will maintain aloft a speed of 110 miles per b—■”
