CALF-REARING
JUDGING NOW IN PROGRESS. Judging commenced yesterday in the northern division of the Boys’ and Girls’ Club calf-rearing competitions, and will be continued to-dny and to-morrow. Entries received number 126, many more than in any former year. The calves alone will be judged this week and the charts will be dealt with later. Districts visited yesterday were Mimi, Motunui, Tikorangi, Huirangi, Bell Block, Hillsborough, Egmont Village and Kaimiro. The revised programme for to-day and to-morrow is as follows: To-day.—Norfolk Road, Durham Road, Inglewood, Lincoln Road, Kaimata, Albert Road, Korito, Upper Mangorei, Lower Mangorei. To-morrow.—Rahotu, Pungarehu, Warea, Puniho, Okato, Tataraimaka, Oakura, Koru, Omata, Moturoa, Westown.
