FORTY-FOUR HOURS WEEK
AGREEMENT WITH ENGINEERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Dee. 14. In the Conciliation Council a settlement has been reached in the Dunedin Amalgamated Engineering and Allied Trades Union, the parties agreeing to a 44-hour week and wages at a rate of 2s 3d per hour for journeymen sheet metal workers and tinsmiths.
