TROWERN DEFEATS PURDY. By Telegraph-—Trees Association. Wanganui, Last Night. In a fight at catch weights for a purse of £l5O R. Trowern beat C. Purdy ou points to-night. The fight went the full 15 rounds with Trowern always the aggressor. Both boxers showed marked cleverness, the fight being one of the best ever seen here.
