FRENCH AIR FATALITIES
SIR P. SASSOON CORRECTED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 13, 5.5 p.m. London, Dec. 12. The Daily Mail’s Paris correspondent says M. Peine Flandin, Under-Secre-tary for Air, denies Sir Philip Sassoon’s statement in the House of Commons that the French Air Force’s fatalities are ludicrously under-estimated. He adds that he is not at liberty to give the exact figures, but there were fewer than twenty in 1926.
