GENERAL ITEMS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Waitara, Nov. I. The Sentry Hill Sunday School and bible classes made the promised visit to the Methodist Church on Sunday morning. Under the able guidance of Mr. C. B. Thompson the children have been trained in voice production, and gave some splendid items in the shape of anthems, solos, duets and quartettes. A sermon on “The Home” was delivered by the Rev. R. B. Gosnell, and a very enjoyable service was held, the church bing well filledThe Sentry Hill children anticipate putting on a 'big concert at Waitara before long, which will be waited for with enthusiasm. The remains of the late Mr. J. W. Laing were laid to rest in the Waitara cemetery on Sunday afternoon.
