LIQUOR AT FOOTBALL
TRAM CONDUCTOR ASSAULTED. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Dunedin, Nov. 1. In the Police Court, George Anthony Silva was sentenced to two months in gaol for assaulting a tram conductor. It was stated that accused played in a football match where there had been 25 gallons of beer and the offence was committed on the way home. The conductor was knocked about, necessitating medical treatment.
