RECOMMENDATIONS M ADE. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Sydney, May 5. The Wireless Conference resolved in favour of the appointment of a Royal Commission to inquire into the question of wireless grievances generally, including copyright and patent royalties. The conference adopted the sub-com-mittee’s report in favour of providing funds to establish a scientific laboratory ami to conduct radio research, also the report of the copyrights committee that broadcasting, being a public utility, should be freed from all restrictions and impositions tending to hamper its development, including copyright fees.
