WEDDING.

J ENNINGS—FORSYTH. On Monday, December 28. St. Joseph’s Church, New Plymouth, was the scene of a quiet but pretty wedding, Father Moran officiating. The contracting parties are both members of families well known in Taranaki, the bride, Miss Mary Forsyth, being the daughter of the late Mr. W. W. Forsyth, Government dairy instructor, and of Mrs. Forsyth, New Plymouth, and the bridegroom the son of Mr. Jennings, Whangamomona. The bride looked charming in a becoming costume of electric blue marocain with hat en suite, and she carried a lovely (bouquet of maiden hair ferns and blue and white flowers. She was attended by her sister, Miss Lillian Forsyth, as bridesmaid, who looked sweet in a dainty frock of cream crepe-de-chine, and carried a bouquet, of pink and white blooms with maiden-hair. The bridegroom was supported by hie brother, Mr. Alf. Jennings, as best man, and in the absence of her brother, the bride w‘as given away by her cousin, Mr. Hal Hughes. After the ceremony, the guests, limited to intima'te friends of the family, were entertained by Mrs. Forsyth at her home in Devon Street West. Later in the afternoon, the happy couple left for Auckland by motor, carrying with 'them the good wishes of a large circle of friends and relatives throughout the district.
