SCULLING.
HANNAN-GOODSELL MATCH. By Telesra,ph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Sydney, June 22. Both Goodsell and Hannan are doing solid work. Each has a new outrigger, specially built by George Towns, and is assisted, by pacers. Both did a full course in good style in the new boats, with which they expressed themselves highly satisfied. Goodsell is now down to his usual racing weight of 12 stone, and Hannan is within a few pounds of his racing standard. Both are in good condition and confident. Received June 22, 11 p.m, Sydney, June 22. Both scullers were on the river in the rain to-day, but Hannan in the mornin'' only, while Goodsell was out during the afternoon. The latter went over the full course in a new boat with a pacer and sculled thirty to the minute, and in an expert’s opinion went more strongly than when he won the title from McDevitt.
