HOLY TRINITY CHURCH.
MEETING OF PARISHIONERS. The annual meeting of parishioners of Holy Trinity Church, Fitzroy, was held on Monday evening. The vicar (the Rev. G. T. Beale) presided. Before proceeding with the busineiss of the meeting the vicar asked the parishioners to stand while a motion of sympathy with the relatives of the late Prime Minister was passed. The vicar in his report mentioned the various organisations in operation in the parish, and thanked the different church officers for their help, especially mentioning the good work done <by the church people of St. Lukes, Bell illock. The churchwarden’s report and the statement of accounts were read by the honorary secretary and treasurer (Mr. L. N. Fairhall’. -On the motion of Mr. 0. Waterston, seconded by Mr. Russell, these were adopted. The following were elected members of the vestry for the current year;— Vicar's warden (re-appointed), Mr. L. N. Fairhall; people’s warden (reelected), Mr. G. S. Giddy; vestry, Messrs Copes take, Thorpe, Stamp, Goddard, F. J. Huggard and J. D. Willis; also Messrs Philpotts and Malcolm, representing St. Luke’s, Bell Block; honorary auditor, Mr. C. Waterston. On the motion of Mr. P. Fredric a social committee was appointed to arrange concerts and social evenings during the winter.
