CHRISTMAS IN HOSPITAL
CONCERT FOR PATIENTS. The patients of the New Plymouth public hospital were entertained at an enjoyable concert, provided by the Taranaki Chamber of < ommerce, on Saturday night. The programme was comprised of both musical and elocutionary items, all of which were much appreciated by the patients and staff of the institution. Those who contributed items were: Mr. and Mrs. A. B. McDonald (duet); Mrs. McDonald (solo) ; Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Skelton (two duets); Mr. Bosworth (flute solo); Mr. Bosworth and Mr. Skelton (flute and violin duet); Miss Morey (two solos); Miss McCarthy (two recitations); Mr. W. o>key (solo); Mr. B. Bellringer (solo); while two items were rendered by the Melody Four.
Mr. F. J. Hill (a member of the hospital board), on behalf of the patients and staff, expressed appreciation of the splendid entertainment provided, after which supper, also provided by the Chamber of Commerce, was handed
