MAN’S SPINE FRACTURED.
A SLIP ON THE STAIRS. While descending a flight of stairs in a New Plymouth boarding house yesterday, a young man named M. McLean fell and fractured hie spine. He was admitted to the New Plymouth Hospital, and at present his condition is regarded as serious. It is understood that McLean was descending ■ the stairs, when he suddenly slipped and fell over the bannister cn to the floor below.
