POULTRY PRICES. At Messrs. Webster Bros, poultry salfc- ▼<*»- terday, hens realised 2s 6d ; geese, lis 6d ; turkeys, 255. Messrs. Nolan and Co. report tlwt liens sold at 2s 4d to 3s fid, cockerels 2s to 3s fid, ducks 2s 9d to 4s, ducklings 10d to Is fid, turkeys Ils to 275, and geese 7s fid to Ils. CALCUTTA TEA SALES. At the tea sales prices generally were firm for all desirable liquoring sorts, but were easier and lower for poor finalities. Dusts were fairly steady. Commonest leaf sold at 13 annas fi pice to 15 annas; ordinary ccmnion pekoe souchong 14 annas 6 pice to 15 annas; lowest oven leaf pekoe one rupee one anna six pice. PRICES FOR PIGS. The entry of pigs at Newton King. Ltd.’s New Plymouth haymarket yesterday was confined to weaners and slips. Weaners made from 15s to 18s and slips up to 255. NEWTON KING, LTD’S REPORT. At Waiwakaiho on the 13th instant we had a fair yarding, but report a quiet sale, due, no doubt, io the lateness of the season. Quotations were: 15-month heifers up to £2 15s, light fat cows £5 5s to £5 17s, good forward cows £4 Ils, springing heifers up to £9 15s.
