ALLEGED MISAPPROPRIATION.
CHARGES AGAINST TELLER. REMAND .TILL MONDAY. Appearing on remand at the Magistrate’s Court at New Plymouth yesterday, on a number of charges of misappropriation of monies, the property of client* of the Bank of New South Wales at New Plymouth, Gordon Herbert Martin, bank teller, was further remanded until 10.30 a.m. on Monday next.
Mr. R.. W. D. Robertson, J.P., was on the bench, the application for a remand being njade by Detective-Sergeant Cooney on. behalf of the police. Bail was renewed on the same terms as before.
It is understood that further charges are pending, and that the total defalcations alleged amount to a sum of .approximately '£1786.
