RABBITS NOT DESTROYED
H EAVY FINES FOR NEGLECT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Rotorua, Last Night. H. B. W aTkei\ owner of land in the Teatiamuri district, ami F. Wiltshire, of South Waihi, were fined £25 and £l5 respectively for failing to destroy rabbits by Mr. W. ,G. K. Kenrick, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Rotorua to-dav.
J. M. McDonald, stock inspector, who prosecuted cn behalf of the department, drew attention to the neglect of absentee owners of land in the district, and promised further attention to defaulters.
