LAWN TENNIS.
FITZROY V. URUTI. A friendly match between Fitzroy and ■L'ruti was played at Uruti last Saturday. Some splendid games resulted, Fitzroy ultimately winning by 12 sets to 10 and one drawn game. The visitors spoke in high terms of praise of the hospitality extended them by the Uruti Club. They hope, in the near future, to have the pleasure of a return visit.
